FOUR AVAILABLE ENERGY SOURCES

Continuous operation, organized by priority.

The system uses available solar energy first and coordinates the selected backup sources to maintain refrigeration as production and operating conditions change.

01 · PRIMARY SOURCE

Solar panels

During production hours, the panels directly supply the DC refrigeration architecture and reduce energy required from other sources.

First priority
02 · HOURS WITHOUT SUN

Lithium batteries

Stored energy supports nighttime operation, low-solar periods or outages according to the designed autonomy.

Nighttime backup
03 · EXTENDED BACKUP

Generator

It can support operation or charging when battery reserves are insufficient and utility service is unavailable, depending on the project design.

Contingency source
04 · WHEN REQUIRED

Utility grid

An external connection allows utility energy to be used when available and required for operation or the charging system.

Auxiliary connection
DC architecture without an external solar inverter

The panels maintain a direct DC path to the system. When utility or generator sources are included, they integrate through the control and charging equipment specified for that configuration—not through a conventional solar inverter powering the refrigeration equipment.

01

Two energy configurations

A 100% DC direct-drive option prioritizes an efficient path from photovoltaic generation to refrigeration. A hybrid option can coordinate solar and backup sources without requiring a conventional external inverter for the cooling equipment.

02

Designed for transport and deployment

The insulated container, refrigeration equipment and retractable solar canopy create a self-contained platform that can be transported and installed on a properly prepared, level site.

03

Continuous temperature visibility

Optional remote monitoring records temperature trends and can issue alerts when readings move outside the configured range. This helps Sun Life PR provide better-informed technical support and assists the operator in documenting cold-chain conditions.
